In 2016, after a tragic ski collision that took their 5-year-old daughter’s life and left Kelli with a severe TBI, Chauncy and Kelli Johnson launched the #RideAnotherDay safety campaign to help prevent similar collisions.

In 2023, that work grew into The Snow Angel Foundation, expanding the mission beyond the ski industry to reach kids, teens, and families everywhere. Through education, storytelling, and community engagement, the Foundation empowers skiers of all ages to make safer choices and look out for one another, because every run should end with everyone making it home.
