Our work with resorts across North America focuses on one goal: helping teams create safer slopes through education, awareness, and leadership-driven safety culture.

Through our programs, we partner with ski areas to:

  • Strengthen staff awareness and communication around collision prevention
  • Reinforce personal responsibility and “Mountain Citizen” behavior
  • Equip teams with practical and effective tools to influence guest safety on the slopes
  • Evaluate current safety practices and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Engage staff, guests, and the community in meaningful safety initiatives

Course Offerings

Course 01

Enhancing Culture of Safety for Management Teams

This session helps leadership and operations teams integrate safety into daily culture, communication, and decision-making.

Duration: 1 hour and 30 minutes (virtual or in-person)

Enhancing Culture of Safety for All Staff

This session helps all teams including seasonal staff integrate safety into daily culture, communication, and decision-making.

Duration: 2 hours (virtual or in-person)

Messaging with Signage & Multimedia Communication: Creating a Visible Safety Presence

Develop strategies to reinforce safety through visible staff presence, behavioral modeling, and integrated messaging.

Duration: 1 hour + case studies

On-Mountain Guest Engagement Events

Option 01

Ride Another Day, Ski & Ride RAD or Triangle of Safety Awareness Day

In person presentation with either Kelli and/or Chauncy Johnson engaging and educating guests on topics selected by the ski area. This is our most popular offering, with January (Safety Month) being the most in-demand. Reserve early for the best dates.

A full-day event promoting collision prevention, safe ski/snowboard practices and responsibile mountain citizenship.

Speaking Engagements

Option 01

Creating Safer Slopes: A Community Conversation

This speaking engagement blends the personal story of Chauncy and/or Kelli Johnson and the loss of their young daughter to a preventable collision with practical safety strategies to raise awareness and inspire community-wide responsibility. Ideal for town halls, resort gatherings, and ski safety weeks.

Duration: 1 hour keynote + 30 minute Q&A
